Unlocking the world of kapa haka at Te Matatini Herenga Waka Herenga Tangata 2023
The world of kapa haka is just a click away with Te Matatini’s newly launched app for the 2023 Festival.
Te Matatini app, only available on Apple, allows kapa haka fans to receive up to date information on the 45 teams performing, create a customised schedule of their favourite kapa and get notified when they are about to go on stage.
The Haka Translate feature provides live English translations of the 45 teams performing from 23 – 25 February.
On finals day (25 February), Mandarin, Samoan, Tongan, Cook Island Māori and Fijian languages will also be available, thanks to the support of the Pacific Media Network.
